• Automatically: basic device/usage data to run and improve the website.
• We collect ID documents (e.g. Aadhaar/passport) only when a specific booking requires it.

2. Why we use it

• To plan, confirm, and operate your trip (bookings, itineraries, vouchers, guide/transport coordination).
• To communicate with you (WhatsApp, email, calls) about your enquiry and trip.
• To process payments, invoices, and refunds.
• To improve our services and, with your consent, send offers.

3. WhatsApp & communication

We use WhatsApp, email, and phone to coordinate trips. By contacting us on WhatsApp you consent to us replying there about your enquiry/booking. You can opt out of promotional messages any time.

4. Payments

Payments are handled through trusted third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card or bank credentials on our servers. Card PINs/OTPs are never requested over chat.

5. Who we share with

We share only what's necessary to run your trip — with hotels, transport operators, guides, and activity partners — and with payment and IT service providers who help us operate. We do not sell your personal data.

6. How we protect it

Access controls, encryption in transit, audit logging of sensitive actions, and tenant data isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable safeguards seriously.

7. How long we keep it

We keep booking and financial records as required by law and for legitimate business needs, then delete or anonymise them.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing — email lakshmanbazarla@indiantripguide.com. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

9. Children

Bookings are made by adults. Minors travel under the responsibility of their accompanying adult/guardian, who provides any required details.

10. Cookies

We use minimal cookies needed to run the site and understand usage. You can control cookies in your browser.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change. Significant changes will be highlighted.
